[Wildcard Zen]

The level of idiocy on Xbox Live on Friday nights has now reached a new low.

I've quit playing any vs. mode in anything on Friday nights because there is no escape from all the asshats.  Whether it's Gears 2, Modern Warfare 2, or even the Bad Co. 2 demo - you can't finish a single session without hitting the mute or banhammer buttons - and this Friday had to be the absolute worst I've ever seen.

I actually thought that maybe a co-op only game like Borderlands would have a little better sessions on it. 

After cruising through 5 sessions filled with a bunch of potty mouthed 8 yr olds doing nothing but dueling for the other's weapons, I get into a session where the spawn tower was getting over-run by level 50 Psychos and Marauders.  Before I can throw out a gunner turret, the host boots me from the session, then sends me a hate-filled voice message vowing to get the stupidest, most useless person on Xbox Live banned (so naturally, I wear out the banhammer buttons again.)

So, unless its a private match with someone reliable with booting controls, do not not invite me for anything in public or ranked play on Friday nights again - EVER!

I don't join random rooms. If I can't find someone on my friends list to play with I'll play civ or the wii
